Presbyterian Church of Vanuatu Education Authority
The PCV Educational Authority provides guidance and leadership for all the schools that are operated by The Presbyterian Church of Vanuatu. Historically, Onesua Presbyterian College has been the leading secondary school in the country and now the church is taking on the responsibility for many more schools. Recent studies have shown that the church operated schools are doing a better job of education than the government only schools. This undoubtedly comes from the PCV concept of educating the "head, heart and hands." The education authority monitors school progress, provides chaplains and religious education and services and assists in the distribution of resources. By contributing to the PCV Education Authority you will be helping educate both young boys and girls in a country where the literacy rate is only 32%.
