Christmas Joy Offering

Fifty percent of undesignated receipts to the Christmas Joy Offering are distributed to the Board of Pensions for assistance programs that provide support to retired and active church workers and their spouses and families. The other fifty percent supports Presbyterian-related racial ethnic schools and colleges through the Racial Ethnic and Women's Ministries of the Presbyterian Mission Agency.

Church Development Specialist/Pastor to Iranian Refugees

The mission co-worker will serve as pastor to Iranians in diaspora and collaborate with a number of Christian organizations and churches that provide ministry to Iranian refugees and immigrants, especially the Iranian Presbyterian Church in Berlin and Berliner Missionswerk. They will participate in ecumenical efforts to provide opportunities for leadership development and continuing education for the Presbyterian Church in Iran. They will also participate in worship services, provide pastoral care and teaching to Iranian refugees in Berlin. Ryan and Alethia White have been called to serve in these positions.

Church Growth For Immigrant Groups In USA

The continuous influx of new immigrants e.g. Pakistani, Indians, Sudanese and Middle Easterners has resulted in an ever-increasing number of immigrant Presbyterian fellowships. These funds will assist partnering with presbyteries to cover immigrant pastors' salaries, regional training for leadership development and transportation for mission and ministry among new immigrants.

Support for the Church of North India ministry for children at risk and under difficult circumstances, including Dalit, marginalized and street children. This ministry focuses primarily on children, age group extending up to 16 years of age, who are often poor and neglected by the larger society.

Church Planter/Trainer

This project supports the sending and support costs for a church planter and trainer to work with the United Presbyterian Church of Brazil. The mission worker will train church members in evangelism and church growth, concentrating on strategies for growth in rural areas and in youth outreach. Rev.
