“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you.” — John 14:27

English and Practical Theology Lecturer, Rwanda

It is the Protestant Institute of Arts and Social Sciences' (PIASS) mission to ensure that The Presbyterian Church of Rwanda and its other founding churches will be able to contribute to the development of the nation and the Church by offering its students quality instruction in theology, education and development. Its graduates will then contribute to the improvement of the spiritual, intellectual and socio-economic life of this country which still bears the scars of genocide. This mission will be achieved through excellence in teaching and inter-disciplinary research and through life in a community that is striving to build unity in the midst of diversity. PIASS trains people called to be moral pillars of reconciliation, mutual respect, and societal development. Kay Day has been called as mission co-worker to this position by the PIASS and will teach practical theology and English courses at the bachelor's degree level. Serving in this position, Rev. Day will also supervise students' academic assignments and field practice in practical theology, while being available to the students as needed.
