Joining Hands Facilitator, Haiti

This position facilitates the relationship between FONDAMA, a network of grassroots and church-related organizations, and PCUSA congregations and presbyteries. FONDAMA includes over 50,000 farmers in Haiti. FONDAMA is dedicated to rebuilding a sustainable, small-farmer based agricultural sector so that Haitian farmers are feeding the Haitian people. This work is part of the global Joining Hands Program of the Presbyterian Hunger Program and World Mission in which PCUSA responds to partners' invitations to understand the realities that are causing poverty and take action with them to address the causes. The program aims to restore the wholeness of God's creation and the healing of the human family through prayer, mutual visits, humble accompaniment, repentance and mutual transformation. Cindy Corell has been called to service as the mission co-worker in this position.
