Environmental & Development Consultant/Public Health Specialist, Madagascar

Dan and Elizabeth Turk serve in Madagascar through the Church of Jesus Christ in Madagascar's (FJKM) development branch, within which are departments of health, environment, agriculture, and safe drinking water. The FJKM believes Christian witness includes ministry to the physical and spiritual needs of people and care for all of God's creation. Dan and Elizabeth work as advisors to the environment and health departments, respectively. The Turks received the William Gibson Lifetime Achievement award from Presbyterians for Restoring Creation at the 217th General Assembly. This award reflects a vision and commitment to improve people's health and preserve God's creation in Madagascar.
